VOL 22 NO. 1, 2025 2025Published on: February 14, 2025
Abstract
The Churches in Africa and the institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life, hear this call. They welcome it as a pressing invitation to be witnesses of hope – a Hope that does not deceive or disappoint (Rom 5:5) --and builders of peace within their communities, in the societies and in the relationship with and care of creation. We cannot overemphasize the importance, scope and implications of becoming pilgrims of hope on the path of peace, especially in regions marked by poor economic and health conditions, wars and social conflicts, political instability or suffer the agony of debt crisis.
